I am a self-taught perfumer born in 2001, with a passion for scent that began in early childhood. No school, no house apprenticeship — materials, reading, and a great deal of weighing and re-weighing.
Everything I compose is made by hand in my studio in Kent. There is no catalogue to adapt from, and no formula waiting to be adjusted. Every commission starts from a blank page.

A fragrance should say something about the person wearing it, not about what happens to be popular.
People usually arrive with notes in mind. The more interesting question is why those notes matter — a place, a season, somebody’s kitchen, a coat that was worn once. That is where the work really starts.
Inside the perfumer’s mind

What emotion do you want a fragrance to carry?
Recognition, usually. The moment somebody realises the thing they could not describe has been put into a bottle.
Which accord do you return to?
Something warm underneath something bright. The contrast is what makes a fragrance feel like a person rather than a product.
How do you know when it is finished?
When everything feels just right — when there is no adjustment left that would make it better, only ones that would make it different.
