Privacy policy
DRAFT — review with a solicitor before launch. This covers the basics required under UK GDPR for a site that collects enquiries, but it is not legal advice.

What we collect
When you submit the enquiry form we collect your name, email address, optional telephone number, and whatever you choose to tell us about your project. We collect nothing else, and we do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
Why we collect it
Solely to respond to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to carry out the work. The lawful basis is your consent, given by ticking the box on the form, and legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted after 12 months. Records relating to completed commissions are kept for six years to meet accounting requirements.
Who sees it
Only Joshua Brown. Form submissions are processed by our hosting provider and delivered by email. We do not sell or share your details. If you accept cookies, Google also processes usage data as described below.
Your rights
You may ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw consent at any time by emailing jbrownolfactive@gmail.com. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
Nothing is set unless you accept it. When you first visit, a banner asks whether Google's advertising and analytics cookies may be used. Until you choose, and if you decline, no such cookies are set and nothing identifying you is sent to Google.
If you accept, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Google Ads are used to understand how the site is found and used — which adverts bring people here, which pages are read, and whether an enquiry followed. This uses Google's consent mode, so your choice is passed to Google on every page.
Either way the site measures anonymous things like how far down a page people scroll and how long they stay. This is not tied to your name or email and cannot be used to identify you.
You can change your mind at any time using Cookie settings at the bottom of any page. To opt out of Google Analytics everywhere, Google provides a browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
If you move or minimise the WhatsApp button, that choice is remembered in your own browser’s local storage so the button stays where you put it. It never leaves your device and is not sent to us.
The WhatsApp button opens WhatsApp, a service run by Meta. Nothing is shared with WhatsApp unless you choose to send a message, in which case WhatsApp’s own privacy policy applies to that conversation.
