Composed from a blank page
Every commission is composed from raw materials in my studio in Kent. There is no catalogue to choose from and no formula waiting to be adjusted. Nothing is adapted from an existing base, so what you end up wearing did not exist before the conversation that started it.
Where a bespoke perfume begins
People usually arrive with notes in mind. The more interesting question is why those notes matter — a place, a season, somebody’s kitchen, a coat that was worn once. That is where the work really starts.
A finished brief is not required. A memory or a single note is enough to begin.
For yourself, or as a gift
A commission can be for yourself — one scent that belongs to you alone — or a gift that marks something worth remembering for somebody else.
Materials and safety
Naturals and quality synthetics are sourced and verified before anything is weighed. Every formula is weighed by hand, logged, and adjusted across successive trials. Work follows relevant IFRA and UK/EU requirements, with appropriate safety information provided.
Working together from anywhere
You do not need to be local. Commissions can be handled entirely by email and WhatsApp from the UK, so the process works just as well from London, Edinburgh or abroad as it does from Kent.
